David W.F. Stifler, Ph.D.
I am a scholar and teacher of ancient literature and culture. My research explores the different ways Greek and Roman writers used languages and language standards to create social identities and position themselves in their communities. As an experienced educator at the college and secondary levels, I am working to develop innovative pedagogy that will introduce a new generation of students to the Classical world.
